Protecting the safety and welfare of the students in the Waynesboro School District is of paramount importance to our school administration. Heading up the staff that ensures the safety of those students is Officer Matt Gordan. Matt walked us through today with the multifaceted aspects of his job. Administrative Professional Day at our club honored those who give so much to make our organizations and businesses run on the tracks. Our presentation featured Ed Herald Board Chairman of the Waynesboro Community and Human Services and Morgan Hovermale, the Executive Director of. Ed shared with us the many ways WCHS provides services to those in need. Their scope of services amazed us all! ... See MoreSee Less

Our good friend and fellow Rotarian from the Martinsburg morning Club, Pete Mulford stopped by our club today for a visit and to encourage our continued support for the Shelter Box program. Pete has faithfully served this project which delivers critical shelter and living needs to those struck internationally by natural or man made calamities. Our featured speaker today was Michelle Gilfus from Visiting Angels who provide in home assistance to those who cannot fully care for themselves and need assistance with basic living needs. Michelle gave us some sobering statistics on those waiting for homebound care including veterans. Thanks so much for your great work, Michelle!! ... See MoreSee Less
